There are two types of projects; moderated and non moderated. Submissions to all projects will only be accepted to participants that submit a valid email address through wich all ongoing communication passes.

Non moderated project represent complete anarchy. Every participant acts on his own responsability. The project can become completely chaotic, but even chaos can be interesting. The only rule is no discrimination or insult. This will actually be the case for lyrics as I do not see how sound produced from scores could pose a problem. In cases of abuse I, Klaas Eldering, will act as moderator.

In the case of a moderated project at the start of the project some sort of goal is stated. The goal could be; creation of a piece of classical (or rock or whatever style) of music. In order to have some sort of survey that the goal is not too much violated there should be a moderator. This function of moderator implies some responsabilities. The moderator decides if new submissions will be actepted. Once a submission is accepted the participant is considered an actual participant and shares in the shared legal rights that each participant has as sharing owner of the whole piece.

The moderator also acts as a sort of conductor and has the right to comment on behavior of individual participants. In any case the moderator should manage the email addresses of the participants to communicate with them. In case of disagreement on submissions the moderator has the role of bringing (ideas of) people together instead of being a judge of what is right or wrong. In the ultimate case where owners of lines in the partition cannot be brought together the moderator decides what wil happen. One or each of the conflicting parties me be excluded. That is to say; no more contributions will be accepted from one, or either participant. His or her lines made so far wil be deleted from the project. A project is stopped if no participant wants to contribute any (musical) notes anymore. Any legal rights on the composition belong to the actual participants of the composition. Once a participant is excluded he or she does not belong to the actual participants anymore.
